Surprise!!!
We’ve done our waiting! So we did a thing! We ELOPED on August 16, 2020 and made this party of two officially wed. We had planned on making the announcement part of our ‘we do re do’ on May 15 - but the pandemic had other ideas - and we can’t keep the secret any longer. So we are now formally a Mr and Mrs, but rest assured, we FULLY INTEND on having ✨Our Wedding✨ to celebrate with everyone at a later date! With the uncertainty of the world, we just wanted to get the legal bits and bobs finalized just in case the earth implodes or something. 😜

We can’t believe we’re here again, but we have to share the unfortunate news that the Fresonke-Twigg wedding is *indefinitely postponed*.
We aren’t willing to sacrifice our dream of hosting a party filled with all the love, (and dancing!! We met and fell in love while out dancing, so a full dance floor is a must!) for something resembling a wedding, with 6-feet markers, masks, and sanitizer. We want to enjoy a day of celebration without the added worry of having to ensure everyone is following guidelines.
We are not giving up hope that it will happen...we just don’t have a clear idea of when. And rather than another year of stressing about it, we made the choice to just breathe and not lock in another date that may or may not come to be. All that to say, please spread the word of this postponement if you know of someone who may not see it here, as we will not be mailing out physical cards.

As we watch Minnesota slowly reopen, we have thought long and hard about what is right for us, our families, and our friends. Due to the uncertainties of current events and out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to POSTPONE our wedding.
For the past three years, we have poured our hearts into planning our dream wedding. Believe us, this decision was not made lightly. We want all the hugs, all the dancing, and most of all, we want everyone to feel safe to come together and celebrate with us.

About Us.
We met through mutual friends years ago while out listening to live music and dancing. Since then, Zach has established a career in programming robotic welders and Patty has been growing as a software engineer. We both enjoy our work, but always try to take time for things that make us happy - camping and hiking, visiting family, archery, watching Harry Potter, zoo dates, hanging out with friends, and kitty cuddles with our favorite meows, Mittins, Ruby, and Luna.
We've been dating since the summer of 2011 and in that time we have navigated a couple apartment moves, and when renting got old, we embarked on the adventure that is homeownership! We have also taken several road-trip style camping trips on our mission to visit all of the Minnesota State Parks. It was on one of those trips that we got engaged. On May 24th, 2017, while visiting the North Shore, we headed to one of the must-see sites on our list, the Black Beach. It was on this beach that Zach popped the question and Patty said YES!
All in all, it's been a long time coming, and we hear about it all the time! ;-) But we've never been in much of a rush - as everything comes in it's own time - and now just seems like the right time. The details are falling into place and we're ready to celebrate how far we've come, together with our friends and families.
